In and out, in and out. Staying alive is about doing things. This very second, your cells are combusting glucose molecules with oxygen to make energy available, which keeps you alive for another precious moment. To get the oxygen to your cells you are breathing.
Breathing is an answer to a very hard problem: How do you get the resources that your cells need to survive, from the outside, to the inside of your cells? Every living thing has to solve this problem and the solution is surprisingly different depending on one of the most important regulators of life: Size.

One problem I think you forgot to mention. When you make the bacteria grow to a larger size, sure it will be bigger, but it would still be a single cell, just a really big cell. But the blue whale has trillions of cells. Thats because of the basic properties of a bacteria is that it is made up of only one cell. I dont know if that would make a difference in wether it dies or not.

I have a question diffusion would that be considered entropy or maybe dark energy that continues to accelerate in the mynute areas of the universe 🤔🧐
It might be an equation for that
    1 + 1 = 2
    1 - 1 = 0
    -1 - 1= -2
But now add close to speed of light aging to one plus one and the acceleration of that same equation,
There's energy gain as life 🧬

Isn't there a certain amount of energy needed to separate one sugar molecule from another even though the energy produced is environmental? Also, there is a certain amount of energy necessary to keep the sugar molecules together too...right? If the answers to both of my questions are affirmative, then diffusion technically isn't "free." If the answers are no then I continue to learn either way.
